Welcome, everyone, to Tax Power, our small businesses and self-employed tax Tips & Tricks. Today is March 1st, 2017, and this is the March webinar. This is a monthly webinar that we do on the first Wednesday of every month. Today's episode is taxation across multiple entities, such as proprietorships, corporations (S&C corporations), partnerships, and LLCs. We're going to clarify what LLCs are and how they play a role in all of this. Okay, today's content. We're going to spend about five minutes on the introduction, talking about the Tax Power hour and other recommended events and things that we're doing. We'll briefly discuss business deductions to set the pace and understand the reasons for incorporating from a business tax perspective. Then, we'll talk about sole proprietorship and compare it to a corporation, as they represent the two extremes in this equation. After that, we'll move on to pass-through entities, such as partnerships and S corporations. Finally, we'll discuss LLCs and do a full comparison of all of these entities. We'll also touch on a few non-tax consequences and other recommended events. So, what is Tax Power? We are a small business and self-employed tax tips and tricks community. We have monthly webinars, some attending live and others watching the video in the future. We have a website, taxpower.com, that is currently under construction. We'll be adding all sorts of tax resources throughout the year. Currently, it's tax season, so I'll have time to add that content after April 15th. We also have a Facebook group where we encourage you to continue the conversation, ask questions, share ideas, and support each other in dealing with tax-related issues. This monthly webinar occurs on the first Wednesday of every month. The duration can range between 30 minutes to an hour. I aim to keep it...
